Abstract:

Yield and quality of oriental sorts of tobacco, among other things depend a lot on meteorological elements, as well as on their mutual influence in the growing region. The demands of these sorts of tobacco can be summarized as follows: a lot of warmth, poor rainfalls and soil that is not very fertile. Grown in such conditions this culture gets its characteristic properties: aroma and small leaves. On the other hand, meteorological elements can influence positively or negatively the quality and chemical composition of tobacco. Because of all these reasons several meteorological elements and their influence on chemical composition and quality of tobacco were studied.
